Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using any part of Ripplex -- including the MCP server, GitHub App, API, or website -- you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Reabot6, the operator of Ripplex.

2. What Ripplex is

Ripplex is a developer tool that provides the following services:

• MCP server -- connects to AI coding editors (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf) and provides tools for blast radius analysis, security scanning, dead code detection, duplicate detection, and error explanation
• GitHub App -- automatically scans every pull request and posts a ranked comment before review
• Deferred tasks -- saves TODOs so nothing is forgotten between sessions

All scans run in ephemeral sandboxes. Your code is never stored and never used to train any model.

3. Your account and API key

When you sign up, we issue you a personal API key. This key:

• Is personal to you and your plan
• Must not be shared with other users, posted publicly, or distributed in any form
• Must not be committed to public or private repositories
• Grants access to all features on your plan

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately at onimisiadeolu@gmail.com.site and we will revoke it and issue a replacement.

4. API key sharing and abuse

Sharing your API key with others is a material breach of these terms. We monitor for sharing using IP-based request analysis. If we detect that your key is being used from an unusual number of IP addresses within a single day, we will:

• Send you a warning email explaining what we detected
• Flag your account for review
• Revoke your key if the behaviour continues after the warning

Revoked accounts due to key sharing are not eligible for refunds.

5. Usage limits

Each plan has a daily request limit. Free tier users are limited to 100 MCP requests per day. Pro users are limited to 1,000 requests per day. Team users have higher limits defined at signup. Limits reset at midnight UTC each day. Requests that exceed the daily limit are rejected with a 429 response. We reserve the right to adjust limits with 7 days notice by email.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Ripplex to:

• Scan codebases you do not own or have explicit permission to analyse
• Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or replicate the scanning logic
• Circumvent rate limits or authentication by any means
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or sublicense access to the service

7. Beta period

Ripplex is currently in private beta. During beta, the service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans at any time with a minimum of 14 days notice by email. Early users who signed up during beta will receive a 30% permanent discount on their plan when billing begins.

8. Payment

When paid plans launch, billing will be handled through Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, including accounts that share API keys, circumvent rate limits, or use the service for prohibited purposes. We will attempt to notify you by email before termination except in cases of severe or repeated abuse. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or scan failures. We will communicate planned maintenance by email where reasonably possible.

11. Intellectual property

Ripplex, its scanning engine, MCP tools, and all associated software remain the intellectual property of Reabot6. You retain all rights to your own code. We claim no ownership over anything you scan.

12. Limitation of liability

Ripplex is provided as a developer tool to assist with code quality. It does not guarantee the detection of all issues, security vulnerabilities, or breaking changes. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on scan results. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or security incidents arising from use of or reliance on the service, including missed findings or false positives.

13. Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
